The thermal pools

The Meran Thermal Baths offers an impressive water world with 25 indoor and outdoor pools that are open all year round. The indoor area includes 15 heated pools, including a main pool at 34°C, a saline pool at 35°C, a thermal water pool at 33°C, a children’s pool at 34°C and whirlpools at 37°C. Lovers of water and warmth will find their paradise here.

From May to September, the thermal park beckons with sunny and shady spots under majestic trees. Enjoy the warm season with bright sunshine, blue skies and the breathtaking mountain backdrop of the Texel Group. There are 10 heated outdoor pools for cooling off, including a sports pool, a non-swimmer pool, a swimming course and a current pool. The water lily pond, inhabited by turtles, offers a special feast for the eyes.

Saunas and SPA treatments

Sauna enthusiasts will find their paradise at the Merano Thermal Baths. The sauna area, offering temperatures from 40°C to 100°C, is a true heaven. Here you will find an outdoor Finnish log sauna, a caldarium with saline inhalation, a South Tyrolean bio hay sauna, three steam baths, and a unique snow room. The Merano Thermal Baths are a center for health and wellness. A treatment at the Medical SPA of the Merano Thermal Baths alleviates pain, reduces allergy symptoms, clears the airways, and strengthens the immune system. The thermal water contains radon – through inhalations and baths, the water releases its healing power.
